Role: Customer-Facing IT Specialist (APAC)

Industry: Global Logistics & Supply Chain

Location: TTDI / Uptown Damansara

Employment Type: 12-Month Contract (Renewable)

Shift Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Salary: Up to RM 6,000 / month


We are seeking a Customer-Facing IT Specialist to support business customers and internal teams across the APAC region. In this role, you will serve as a key technical contact—troubleshooting system issues, supporting logistics/supply chain platforms, and working with EDI, API, and system integrations to ensure seamless operations.


Key Responsibilities

- Technical Support: Provide first-level IT support and troubleshoot issues for regional customers and internal business users.

- Integrations & Systems: Support and troubleshoot EDI, API, and system integration workflows.

- Problem Resolution: Collaborate directly with customers to understand technical requirements, diagnose complex logistics software issues, and resolve system bottlenecks.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal technical teams and developers to investigate, escalate, and resolve technical issues efficiently.

- Implementation & Operations: Assist with system testing, platform onboarding, and ongoing technical improvements.

- Documentation: Maintain clear, organized documentation of technical workflows, common solutions, and troubleshooting processes.


Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or customer-facing technical role.

- Prior experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is strongly preferred.

- Hands-on experience or familiarity with EDI, API, and system integrations.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer service orientation.

- Comfortable engaging and working with diverse stakeholders across the APAC region.

- Candidates with strong relevant expertise open to short-term project/contract assignments are encouraged to apply.
