Job Summary

You will prepare and cook large batches of food following exact recipes, ensure quality and safety compliance, manage inventory, and maintain kitchen equipment to support efficient food production.

Responsibilities

• Cook, prepare, and portion large batches of food accurately using exact recipes to meet production demands
• Inspect ingredient freshness and adhere to NEA and local food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain quality standards
• Monitor stock levels, track waste, and assist in managing raw material supplies to optimize inventory control
• Clean and maintain industrial kitchen machinery, work areas, and tools to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
• Collaborate effectively with team members to perform tasks under pressure in a fast-paced food production setting

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold a Basic or Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate as required for food safety compliance
• Demonstrate physical fitness to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 20 kg to meet job demands

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in high-volume food production, catering, or restaurant kitchens to ensure familiarity with fast-paced environments
