Role Description This is a contract, on-site role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur, supporting AI data centre operations and banking applications. The AI Data Centre, Application Support professional will monitor critical banking applications and related data processes, ensure system availability, and respond to incidents and service requests. Daily responsibilities include investigating application issues, performing root cause analysis, coordinating fixes with technical teams, and maintaining documentation of configurations and procedures. The role also involves working with data workflows, validating data quality, and supporting analytics processes that rely on AI and machine learning components. The individual will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders, follow established service level agreements, and support change management and release activities for banking systems.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Data Analytics and Data Analysis skills to interpret complex datasets and support insights for banking applications.
• Candidates should possess solid Data Management and Data Modeling skills to organize, structure, and maintain reliable datasets within AI and data centre environments.
• Candidates should possess excellent Analytical Skills to diagnose application issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend effective solutions.
• Relevant experience in application support or production support in the banking or financial services domain is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with AI- or ML-driven systems, data pipelines, and monitoring tools is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Greater Kuala Lumpur, handle shifting priorities, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
