Job description:

• Source and procure raw materials, packaging materials, components, and indirect materials required for production.
• Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and monitor delivery schedules to ensure on-time material availability.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, quotations, quality issues, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate costs, payment terms, and supply agreements to achieve cost savings.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Production, Planning, and Warehouse teams.
• Evaluate supplier performance and develop alternative sources to minimize supply risks.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare purchasing reports and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Logistics, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in plastic injection moulding, electronics, automotive, or related manufacturing industries will be an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
