We are Hiring: Project Planner (Engineering) | Kuala Lumpur (KVTP)

Are you a skilled Primavera P6 and MS Project professional looking for your next career move? EPC Company is expanding, and we are looking for a proactive Project Planner to join our Engineering Department in Kuala Lumpur!

Location: KVTP, Kuala Lumpur

Monthly Salary: MYR 9,000 – MYR 12,000

Department: Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Scheduling & Tracking: Develop, update, and maintain detailed baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with Project Managers, discipline engineers, and site teams to ensure schedule accuracy.
• Progress & Risk Control: Monitor construction progress, proactively identify delay risks, and develop effective recovery/catch-up plans.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and submit comprehensive progress reports, including S-Curves, histograms, and Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis.
• Resource & Cost Integration: Link project schedules with cost management and resource loading/leveling plans.
• Tendering & Scenario Planning: Assist in tender stage planning, establish project baselines, and perform "What-If" scenario analyses for potential scope changes.
• Compliance: Ensure all schedules strictly adhere to client requirements and company standards.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–5+ years of hands-on planning/scheduling experience in the construction or engineering sector.
• Software Mastery: Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced MS Excel.
• Core Technical Knowledge:
• Solid understanding of Extension of Time (EOT) claims and CPM methodology.
• Strong grasp of resource loading/leveling, earned value management (progress measurement), and project controls.
• Key Skills & Competencies:
• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and thrive under pressure.
