Job Description
Responsibilities
- Supervise the FA/Failure Analysis team and daily activities
- Lead investigation of customer complaints, defects and production issues
- Analyse defective plastic injection moulded parts
- Identify root cause using methods such as 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D
- Work closely with Quality, Production, Process Engineering, Tooling and R&D
- Review product dimensions, appearance and functional defects
- Analyse injection moulding parameters such as temperature, pressure, cycle time, cooling, etc.
- Coordinate testing and inspection using measuring/analysis equipment
- Prepare FA reports, 8D reports, CAPA and corrective action documentation
- Recommend and monitor corrective/preventive actions
- Follow up with Production/Engineering to ensure issues are properly resolved
- Monitor recurring defects and drive continuous improvement
- Support customer audits and technical discussions when required
- Train and guide FA Technicians/Engineers
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
