Role Description The Staff Engineer, Facility System Management role is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. This role is responsible for managing and administering facility-related systems and infrastructure, ensuring reliable operation of critical building and production support systems. Day-to-day activities include monitoring system performance, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and reliability. The Staff Engineer collaborates closely with facilities, IT, production, and external vendors to plan and execute projects, support system upgrades, and maintain compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. The role also involves documenting system configurations, maintaining operational procedures, and contributing to long-term capacity and lifecycle planning for facility systems.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Systems Management and Infrastructure skills to oversee and optimize facility systems and related support environments.
• Candidates should possess solid System Administration skills for configuring, maintaining, and securing facility control and monitoring systems.
• Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills to identify root causes, resolve incidents efficiently, and prevent recurring system issues.
• Candidates should possess effective Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and deliver facility system upgrades, installations, and improvement initiatives.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Facility, or Industrial), Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Experience in facility systems within semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or high-tech industrial environments is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of building management systems (BMS), energy management, and EHS standards, with a focus on reliability and safety.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and support on-site operations.
