Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and supervise the shift operations team to ensure smooth daily data centre operations.
  • Monitor critical facility systems including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire protection, and building management systems (BMS).
  • Coordinate and respond to incidents, equipment failures, and emergency situations following established escalation procedures.
  • Ensure all operational activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Review and approve maintenance activities, permit-to-work documentation, and method statements before execution.
  • Conduct shift handovers, ensuring accurate communication of ongoing activities, outstanding issues, and operational risks.
  • Maintain operational logs, incident reports, maintenance records, and shift documentation.
  • Perform root cause analysis for operational incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support change management processes to minimize operational risks.

Requirements


  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in critical facilities, data centre operations, mission-critical facilities, or industrial plant operations.
  • Previous experience leading a technical operations team or shift team is preferred.
  • Experience working in a shift environment.
