Key Responsibilities

Perform routine, corrective, and preventive maintenance in guest rooms, applicable public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

Inspect equipment, systems, and facilities to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs according to established maintenance schedules and standards.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests while minimising inconvenience and disruption to guests.

Perform general wear-and-tear repairs to maintain rooms and selected facility areas in good condition.

Coordinate closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Administration, and other departments to support smooth daily operations.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, and other completed work.

Follow all company policies, maintenance procedures, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Use hand and power tools safely, correctly, and responsibly.

Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant working environment.

Support continuous improvement initiatives relating to property maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

Practical skills in electrical work, general maintenance, and wear-and-tear repairs.

Strong troubleshooting and preventive-maintenance skills to identify problems early and reduce downtime.

Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, fan coil unit (FCU), and mechanical systems.

Experience in industrial maintenance or a similar technical environment; hospitality or facilities-services experience is preferred.

Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Ability to read and follow maintenance procedures, work orders, and safety instructions.

Able to maintain accurate records and documentation for all work performed.

Relevant technical certification, vocational training, or equivalent practical experience in maintenance or engineering is preferred.

Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, according to operational requirements.

Committed to complying with all company, safety, and regulatory requirements.
