Leading Japanese A1 Main Contractor | Major Civil Infrastructure & Marine Projects

Position: Quantity Surveyor - Upto SGD 8,500 (Highly Negotiable)

Project Types: Marine, Land Reclamation and Civil Infrastructure projects

Eligibility: Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Singapore

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Working Hours: 5-Day Work per Week (Monday–Friday)

Salary Package: Competitive Salary (Highly Negotiable) + AWS + Variable Bonus (upto 3 Months), OT Paid

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are partnering with a leading Japanese A1 Main Contractor delivering major Civil Infrastructure, Marine and Land Reclamation projects in Singapore. Due to ongoing project requirements, we are seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors to join the commercial team supporting large-scale civil engineering works.

Candidates with Marine or Land Reclamation project experience will be highly preferred. However, experienced Quantity Surveyors with a strong background in major Civil Infrastructure projects will also be considered.

JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage commercial and contractual matters throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, tender evaluations and subcontract documentation.
• Administer subcontracts, variation orders, progress claims and final accounts.
• Evaluate subcontractors' progress claims, variation works and payment applications.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and commercial performance.
• Prepare and negotiate variation claims and final account settlements.
• Support procurement, tendering and subcontract package management.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams on contractual and commercial matters.
• Identify commercial risks and support effective cost-control measures.
• Maintain accurate commercial documentation and reporting throughout the project.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Relevant Quantity Surveying experience within the construction or civil engineering industry.
• Experience with a Main Contractor will be highly advantageous.
• Experience in Marine or Land Reclamation projects will be highly preferred.
• Candidates with experience in Civil Infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, utilities, drainage, earthworks, foundations or other major civil works will also be considered.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, cost control, variation management, subcontract administration and final accounts.
• Good commercial awareness, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a large-scale project environment.
