Experienced Senior Manager to lead the end-to-end data migration for core insurance implementation, familiar with defining data migration strategy, governing the mock-run execution and reconciliation, and ability to translate complex data issues into clear business impacts and options.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data migration strategies and plan
• Develop reconciliation, cleansing, mock-run and cutover approach
• Lead a team to manage and track the data migration timeline (e.g. data mapping, ETL build, data cleansing, etc.) and
• Drive data mapping discussion and resolutions of ETL/ reconciliation/cleansing issues
• Proactively identify and track issues, risks, and dependencies to closure
• Propose mitigations/ resolutions for issues identified (e.g. data cleansing approach)
• Manage overall mock run execution and data reconciliation including drive discussion to resolve open defects/ data discrepancies and optimize the migration runtime
• Define freeze periods and migration windows, and develop the migration runbook
• Lead the production migration, validation, reconciliation, issue resolution, and provide cutover progress update

Key Requirements

• Minimum 10 - 12 years of experience in data migration, data management, or system implementation projects, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end data migration for Core Insurance/PAS transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of data migration lifecycle, including data profiling, data mapping, ETL development, data cleansing, reconciliation, mock runs, and cutover execution.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets across policy, claims, billing, collections, and customer domains.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams comprising business users, system integrators, data analysts, and technical resources.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex data issues in business-friendly terms.
• Experience identifying, managing, and mitigating project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Familiarity with data migration tools, ETL processes, and data quality frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
