Job Summary

The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and promoting the company's animation content, intellectual properties (IP), and creative services. The role requires an independent and proactive individual who can identify market opportunities, manage client relationships, support merchandising activities, and coordinate promotional events.

1. Sales

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and acquire new clients for animation production services, licensing, and creative solutions.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for potential clients.
• Conduct negotiations and manage contract discussions.
• Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to achieve sales targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify market opportunities.

2. Business Development

• Identify potential strategic partnerships with broadcasters, streaming platforms, distributors, government agencies, brands, and content investors.
• Explore local and international business opportunities for animation content and production services.
• Assist in developing and executing business growth strategies.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
• Develop proposals for collaborations, sponsorships, licensing, and co-production opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners.
• Participate in business pitching sessions, trade missions, and industry networking events.

3. Marketing

• Execute marketing campaigns to promote the company's animation content, services, and intellectual properties.
• Manage social media platforms and digital marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate content creation for websites, social media, newsletters, and promotional materials.
• Support branding and public relations activities.
• Monitor campaign performance and prepare marketing reports.
• Work with creative teams to develop promotional content, trailers, posters, and marketing collateral.
• Manage online advertising campaigns and lead generation activities.

4. Event Management

• Coordinate participation in local and international animation, gaming, media, and entertainment exhibitions.
• Assist in organizing company events, roadshows, product launches, and promotional activities.
• Coordinate logistics, marketing materials, and event schedules.
• Manage booth operations during trade shows and exhibitions.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and reporting.

5. Distribution & Licensing

• Support distribution activities for animation content across television, OTT platforms, digital channels, and other media platforms.
• Coordinate with distributors, broadcasters, and platform operators.
• Assist in licensing negotiations for animation IP, merchandising, and content syndication.
• Monitor distribution performance and prepare tracking reports.
• Maintain distribution and licensing documentation.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Animation, or related disciplines.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Media, Animation, Entertainment, or Creative Industry.
• Experience in B2B sales and partnership development is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Malaysia's animation, gaming, media, or digital content ecosystem is preferred.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM2,100.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
