Contract duration: 12 months

Description

The QA/QC Manager – High Voltage Systems ensures that all high-voltage substation projects in Malaysia meet s quality standards, customer specifications, and international regulations. You lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), oversee supplier and site quality, and ensure flawless execution across engineering, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning phases.

This role is central to delivering safe, reliable, and compliant high-voltage grid solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international regulations for HV substations, equipment, and installation practices.
  • Lead internal and external audits, certification readiness, and change-control processes.
  • Embed risk-based thinking across project and operational processes.
  • Define project-specific quality requirements for GIS, AIS, transformers, protection systems, and HV equipment.
  • Develop and execute Project Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality control procedures.
  • Oversee quality activities across engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in High Voltage Substation projects (GIS/AIS), preferably within EPC or OEM environments.
  • Proven experience in QA/QC roles involving HV systems, testing, commissioning, and supplier quality.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Driving license is required.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,500.00 per month
