Role Description:- The Senior Engineer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Pengerang. This role leads and executes engineering activities related to maintenance, overhaul, installation, and commissioning of turbomachinery, mechanical rotating and static equipment, valve systems, and electrical and instrumentation assets. The Senior Engineer will plan and supervise site work, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure safe, compliant, and timely delivery of services for onshore and offshore projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing technical solutions, reviewing engineering documentation, supporting troubleshooting, conducting root cause analysis, and providing guidance to junior engineers and technicians. The role also involves collaborating with clients, preparing reports, supporting tender or proposal work, and continuously improving processes and standards to meet operational and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical engineering expertise, including experience with turbomachinery, rotating and static equipment, valves, and piping systems.
• Solid electrical and instrumentation knowledge, covering installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting in industrial environments.
• Proven track record in onshore and offshore field operations, with a focus on oil and gas or heavy industry projects and site-based maintenance work.
• Experience leading engineering teams, coordinating manpower on site, and mentoring junior staff in multi-discipline project environments.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards, and to produce clear reports and documentation.
• Familiarity with safety regulations, permit-to-work systems, confined space work, and industry best practices for HSE compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• High level of initiative, problem-solving ability, and willingness to be hands-on at site when required.
