Who We Are:
Oliyaya, headquartered in Petaling Jaya, is an enabler of market growth and expansion for exciting lifestyle brands, enabling business growth through its combination of end-to-end sales & marketing, retail operations, sales, as well as logistics enablement. This role sits within the creative team supporting our audio and consumer-technology portfolio — Devialet, XGIMI, and Bruno — working alongside the Creative Lead to keep our retail, digital, and e-commerce touchpoints consistently on-brand. Join us and help our brands show up right, everywhere, every time.
Why Join Us?
At Oliyaya, this role is the fastest way to build real production discipline — high volume, real deadlines, real brands — while learning directly from a Creative Lead who will invest in developing your craft.
What You'll Be Doing
This role exists to own the recurring, high-volume, templatized production work across our brand portfolio — freeing the Creative Lead to focus on creative direction, strategy, and higher-value campaign work. You are the engine room: fast, precise, and dependable on anything that follows an established format.
- Retail & POP Materials: Own the regular revision, update, and reproduction of in-store point-of-purchase (POP) and point-of-sale (POS) materials — pricing changes, promo swaps, new SKU additions — keeping every outlet's collateral current and print-ready.
- Website & E-commerce Assets: Refresh website banners, homepage promos, and product carousels on a recurring cadence; produce e-commerce assets (product listing images, storefront banners, marketplace promo tiles) for Shopee, Lazada, and ************* storefronts.
- Monthly Promotions: Produce the recurring monthly promo asset set — across print, web, and social formats — by adapting existing templates and master files rather than designing each from scratch.
- Template & Asset Library Management: Maintain and organize the master template and design asset library the Creative Lead builds, so recurring jobs can be executed quickly and consistently without reinventing the layout each time.
- Format Adaptation & Resizing: Take a master creative from the Creative Lead and adapt it accurately across the full range of required sizes, formats, and channels (print collateral, web banners, social specs, marketplace specs) while preserving brand consistency.
- Production File Prep: Prepare print-ready and publish-ready files — correct color mode, resolution, bleed, and file format — for both print vendors and digital platforms, catching technical errors before they become production or printing mistakes.
- Execution Against Brief: Execute clearly-scoped creative requests and briefs from the Creative Lead with fast, reliable turnaround, flagging early if a request falls outside a standard template and needs the Creative Lead's direction.
- Production Calendar: Track the recurring production calendar (monthly promos, seasonal swaps, campaign flights) so nothing is missed and updates go out to stores, site, and marketplaces on schedule.
- Ad Hoc Support: Provide hands-on production support for larger campaigns, product launches, and events as directed by the Creative Lead.
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of design experience (internships and freelance work count) — a portfolio that shows clean, consistent execution matters more than your degree or years on paper.
- Solid working proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator at minimum; working knowledge of InDesign for multi-page and print layout work is a strong advantage.
- Meticulous attention to detail and consistency — you can take a brand guideline or master template and reproduce it precisely, without introducing drift, across dozens of near-identical assets.
- Comfortable with high-volume, repetitive production work on a recurring cadence, and can hit deadlines without close supervision once a template or standard is set.
- Organized file and asset management habits — clear naming conventions, version control, and a tidy library that the rest of the team can navigate.
- Basic understanding of print production specs (CMYK, bleed, resolution, dielines) and digital/social platform specs (dimensions, file weight, aspect ratios).
- Receptive to direction and feedback — this role executes against a brief and a brand system set by the Creative Lead, rather than driving creative concepts independently, at least at the outset.
- A genuine interest in growing into a more creative, concepting role over time, with a proactive attitude toward learning the brands you work on.
- Advantage: familiarity with AI image-generation tools (e.g. Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Canva AI) for fast resizing, background variation, or draft concepting.
- Advantage: basic video/motion editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Premiere) for simple social or e-commerce video assets.
