Job description

• Assisting head chef in day to day operation
• To prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, while maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety regulations at all times.
• Prepare ingredients and cook food items according to the menu and standard recipes.
• Ensure food is presented attractively and served at the correct temperature.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and portioning.
• Support daily kitchen operations and coordinate with kitchen team members.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner, especially during peak hours.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area in compliance with food safety standards
• Ensure proper storage of food items to avoid contamination and spoilage.
• Monitor and record food temperatures and expiry dates.
• Cooperate with other kitchen staff and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Attend briefings, training, and meetings as required.
