  Job Description

·      We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer – Java with 2–3 years of experience in Java application development. 

·      The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise applications while ensuring high-quality code, adherence to development standards, and successful project delivery. 

·      Experience with Angular is preferred, and candidates should be comfortable working on application maintenance and enhancement projects. 

Key Responsibilities

·      Gather and analyze business requirements in collaboration with Business Analysts and Team Leads. 

·      Translate functional specifications into technical designs and scalable application solutions. 

·      Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using Java and related technologies. 

·      Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established coding standards and best practices. 

·      Participate in application configuration management, including software changes, documentation, and version control. 

·      Develop unit test cases, execute testing, and document results to ensure application quality. 

·      Support integration testing, system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production implementation activities. I

·      nvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and production issues through root cause analysis. 

·      Ensure application security and compliance with development and security guidelines. 

·      Participate in peer code reviews to maintain code quality and knowledge sharing. 

·      Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and application documentation.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements and support ongoing maintenance initiatives. 

Required Qualifications 

·      Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

·      2–3 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.

·       Strong proficiency in Java and enterprise application development. 

·      Experience with Angular is highly preferred. 

·      Comfortable working on application maintenance, bug fixing, and enhancement projects. 

·      Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), coding standards, and development best practices. 

·      Experience in unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting applications. 

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

·      Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. 

Preferred Skills 

·      Experience with enterprise Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or similar).

·       Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server. 

·      Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services. 

·      Experience working in Agile development environments. 

·      Understanding of application security and secure coding practices.
