Job Summary
Deliver engaging and effective Science and Chemistry lessons to Secondary 1 to 4 students, driving their academic progress and collaborating with parents and the teaching team to enhance learning outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the centre’s curriculum to Secondary 1 & 2 Science and Secondary 3 & 4 Pure/Combined Chemistry students
- Prepare detailed lesson plans and actively contribute to curriculum development to ensure content relevance and effectiveness
- Monitor and track students’ academic progress using assessment data to identify learning needs and adjust teaching strategies
- Provide constructive feedback and actionable solutions to parents to support student development and address challenges
- Review and refine teaching programmes continuously to improve student engagement and learning outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues and perform other relevant academic duties as required to support the centre’s educational goals
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Passion for teaching and commitment to student development
- Patience, responsibility, and openness to feedback
- Strong communication skills to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively
- Positive “can-do” attitude and eagerness to learn; training will be provided for candidates without prior teaching experience
