RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, develop and manage a production team to ensure that the production processes aligned with specified key performance indicators such as quality, productivity, cost control, waste reduction, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, absenteeism, continuous improvement, safety & environmental standards and profitability.

• Coordinates work arrangements & schedules, staffing requirements, and smooth workflow to achieve productivity and output targets.

• Process improvement, troubleshooting & problem-solving, follow up & enforcement and leadership by example.

• Training and development of team members. Overseeing the overall operation of production.

• Communicating regularly with upper Management regrading problems or issues impacting production.

• Participating in management review of the organization’s quality, and reviewing the budget plan.

• Plan, organize and control daily production activities to achieve production targets and customer delivery requirements.

• Ensure production schedules are followed and completed within the required timeframe.

• Identify production bottlenecks and take immediate corrective action.

• Coordinate with Planning, QA/QC, NPI, Maintenance, Material Planning and Finished Goods/Delivery departments to ensure smooth production flow.

• Review daily production performance and take necessary action for any shortfall.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce operating costs.

 REQUIREMENT:

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Manufacturing, Production, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.

• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant production/manufacturing experience, preferably with supervisory or managerial experience.

• Experience in printing, manufacturing, converting, finishing or a related industry will be an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of production processes, manpower management, quality control and manufacturing operations.

• Good understanding of workplace safety, 5S and continuous improvement practices.

• Strong leadership and people management skills.

• Good production planning and organizational skills.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Strong sense of responsibility, discipline and accountability
