We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient production operations, effective manpower management, product quality, workplace safety, cost control and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with Production, Warehouse & Logistics, and Maintenance, to Achieve the Company's operational and business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Production & Operational Management

• Oversee daily manufacturing and operational activities to ensure smooth production flow.

• Monitor production plans, output, productivity and overall operational performance.

• Ensure production targets are achieved according to customer requirements and schedules.

• Identify operational issues and implement timely corrective actions.

• Optimise production processes, manpower and resources to improve efficiency.

Manpower Management

• Plan and manage manpower requirements according to production needs.

• Monitor attendance, discipline, productivity and employee performance.

• Ensure effective deployment of manpower across production areas.

• Lead, motivate and develp supervisors and operational personnel.

Quality & Food Safety

• Ensure products are manufactured according to established quality standards and specifications.

• Work closely with the Quality Anssurance/Quality Control team to address production and quality issues.

• Investigate production-related non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Ensure employees comply with food safety, hygience and operational procedures.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements, SOPs and Company policies.

• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the factory.

• Investigate operational accidents and incidents and implement appropriate corrective acions.

• Ensure proper housekeeping and workplace organisation.

• Support compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Cost & Resources Control

• monitor operational costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

• Control wastage of raw materials, packing materials, utilities and other resources.

• Improve utilisation of machinery, equipment and manpower.

• Monitor production losses, downtime and operational wastage.

Maintenance and Equipment

• Coordinate with the Maintenance team to minimize machinery downtime.

• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are properly implemented.

• Monitor equipment performance and recurring breakdown issues.

• Support the evaluation and improvement of machinery and production equipment.

Warehouse & Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.

• Ensure effective iventory flow between production and warehouse.

• Support production scheduling based on customer demand and iventory requirements.

Reporting and Management

• Prepare regular operational reports for Management.

• Monitor production performance, manpower utilisation, wastage, downtime and other operational KPIs.

• Provide Management with recommendations for operational improvements.

• Participate in management meetings and strategic planning.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or supervisory position.

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.

• Strong knowledge of production planning, manpower management, quality control and manufacturing operations.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational priorities.

• Strong sense of responsibility, accountability and ownership.
