Responsibilities:

Software Development & Technical Excellence

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-quality web applications with a strong focus on automation and maintainability.
• Build and maintain reusable libraries, developer tools, and CI/CD pipelines using modern engineering practices.
• Utilize AI-assisted development and testing tools to improve code quality, productivity, documentation, and software delivery.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions through effective solution design and requirements analysis.
• Develop a strong understanding of business workflows, analytical products, and underlying datasets.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual or semi-automated processes using APIs, scripting, workflow automation, and AI-enabled technologies.
• Ensure applications comply with established quality, security, governance, and responsible AI standards.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to transform analytical insights into intuitive and user-friendly applications.
• Participate actively in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members while fostering a collaborative engineering culture.

Continuous Improvement

• Create and maintain technical, architectural, and onboarding documentation using automation and AI-assisted tools where appropriate.
• Promote knowledge sharing and advocate modern software engineering best practices across the team.
• Stay current with emerging trends in cloud technologies, AI-enabled software engineering, application security, and software delivery, evaluating their practical adoption.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in full-stack application development and CI/CD pipeline implementation (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and C#, with hands-on experience using frameworks such as React, Angular, and .NET.
• Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience developing data-intensive applications and enterprise-grade solutions.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools or implementing AI-powered capabilities such as automation, intelligent search, summarization, or natural language interfaces.
• Good understanding of responsible AI practices, application security, and data privacy principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a proactive approach to improving engineering processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation.
• Exposure to analytics platforms, business intelligence solutions, or data products.
• Interest in enhancing developer experience, improving platform scalability, and driving engineering efficiency.
