About the role

We are seeking a QA Executive / QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance and Control team at Yolo Tech Sdn. Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Pekan Nanas, Johor. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing and logistics operations meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will play a critical part in maintaining product excellence, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing quality control measures across our production processes. This position is integral to our commitment to delivering superior products and services to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS).

• Develop, review and revise SOPs, Work Instructions and inspection standards.

• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and applicable ISO standards.

• Handle customer complaints and quality-related issues.

• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Prepare 8D reports and follow up on CAPA closure.

• Liaise with customers on quality matters.

• Monitor process capability and production quality.

• Review control plans and inspection methods.

• Support new product quality planning.

• Conduct internal audits and support customer/external audits.

• Follow up and ensure audit findings are properly closed.

• Monitor quality KPIs and lead continuous improvement projects.

• Identify recurring defects and implement actions to reduce quality issues.

• Maintain quality records and document revisions.

• Provide quality-related training and support to QC, Production and Operations teams.

• Perform other duties assigned by Management.

What we're looking for

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related field.

• Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control or a manufacturing environment will be an advantage.

• Good understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality improvement practices.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Candidates with experience in ISO, 8D, CAPA, root cause analysis and internal audits are encouraged to apply.
