As a 3D Modeler, you will be responsible for creating three-dimensional models and assets used in various applications, including video games, animation, virtual reality, architectural visualization, and more. You will collaborate with a creative team to bring concepts to life by designing and producing 3D objects, characters, environments, and animations.
Key Responsibilities:
- 3D Modeling: Create high-quality assets based on concept art, sketches, or design briefs.
- Character and Object Modeling: Develop detailed 3D character models, objects, and environments, ensuring they meet artistic and technical requirements.
- Texturing: Apply textures and materials to 3D models to achieve the desired visual effects and realism.
- Optimization: Optimize 3D models for performance considerations.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard 3D modeling and animation software (e.g., Blender, Maya, Subtance Painter, Zbrush) to create and edit models and animations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with artists, designers, and developers to ensure the 3D assets align with project requirements and creative vision.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on 3D assets to ensure they meet artistic and technical standards, and make necessary revisions or improvements.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and organized documentation of 3D assets, models, and workflows.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of an art-related Bachelor's diploma, has at least 3 years working in the production of 3D models environment props and characters.
- Strong proficiency in 3D modeling and animation software.
- Portfolio showcasing 3D modeling and animation work.
- Understanding of artistic principles, design, and aesthetics.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a creative team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
Additional Skills:
- Proficient in topology
- Basic knowledge of rigging
- Knowledgeable in Unreal software
