About the Role

MLCA is building a pool of reliable and energetic Event Crew to support our events, activations, roadshows, brand experiences, and productions.

This is a flexible, event-based opportunity where you can choose the shifts that fit your availability. Available opportunities will be shared through our dedicated MLCA Event Crew WhatsApp group on a first-come, first-served basis.

You don't need to commit to every event — simply choose the shifts you're available for.

What You'll Do

Depending on the event and assigned role, you may be involved in:

• Guest registration and check-in
• Welcoming and assisting guests
• Ushering and crowd management
• Supporting event activities and games
• Assisting with brand activations and promotions
• Distributing event materials, gifts, or merchandise
• Supporting VIP and guest movements
• Assisting with event setup and teardown
• Supporting the event management and production team
• Other event-related duties as required

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for people who are:

• Friendly, energetic, and approachable
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working with people and in busy event environments
• Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
• Presentable and professional when representing MLCA and our clients
• Flexible and willing to take on different event roles
• Responsible and committed once a shift has been confirmed

Previous event experience is an advantage, but not required.

Position: MLCA Event Crew

Type: Part-Time / Event-Based

Rate: RM15/hour

Location: Various event venues

Schedule: Varies depending on event

Shifts: Ad-hoc / Flexible

Consumption: Provided for shifts exceeding 4 hours, subject to event arrangements

How It Works

1. Register

Submit your details through the MLCA Event Crew registration form.

2. Get Approved

Once approved, you'll be added to the MLCA Event Crew WhatsApp group.

3. Choose Your Shift

Available event opportunities will be posted in the group.

4. Claim Your Shift

Shifts are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

5. Show Up & Work

Once your shift is confirmed, you're expected to be punctual, presentable, and ready to work.

6. Get Paid

Earn RM15/hour based on your approved working hours.

Important

Registering for the MLCA Event Crew Pool does not guarantee a shift. Opportunities will be offered based on MLCA's event and project requirements.

Once a shift is confirmed, reliability is important. Repeated late cancellations, no-shows, or failure to follow event instructions may affect your eligibility for future opportunities.
