JOB SUMMARY:

• Lead and manage the architectural design function for data centre construction projects, ensuring all design deliverables meet client requirements, project objectives, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the planning, design, development, coordination, and execution of architectural works from concept through construction, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership, manage design resources, and collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to deliver integrated and cost-effective design solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage the architectural design team to deliver high-quality design solutions for data centre construction projects.
• Establish project design strategies, objectives, schedules, and resource planning to ensure successful project execution.
• Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of architectural drawings, specifications, presentations, BIM models, and other design deliverables.
• Ensure all architectural designs comply with applicable building codes, statutory requirements, client specifications, and data centre design standards.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, BIM, and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless design integration and resolve technical issues.
• Lead design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve architectural inputs, design changes, value engineering proposals, and technical solutions.
• Monitor design progress, project milestones, quality, budgets, and resource utilisation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Drive continuous improvement in design processes, standards, and best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Identify project risks, resolve complex technical issues, and support construction teams during project execution.
• Ensure proper management and control of architectural documentation, drawing revisions, and project records.
• Prepare and present design reports, technical presentations, and project updates to senior management and clients.

SUPERVISION:

• Receives daily supervision and workload from Design & Engineering Manager.
• Receives general supervision from Head of Engineering Design when required.

Pay: RM17,000.00 - RM25,000.00 per month
