About theRole

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Manager to support the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, accounting operations, statutory compliance, billing processes, and cash flow monitoring, while working closely with management and Head Office to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

KeyResponsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting schedules for submission to Head Office within established timelines.
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business planning.

Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable

• Oversee invoicing activities and ensure timely collection of receivables.
• Monitor ageing reports and follow up on outstanding balances to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Monitor supplier payments and ensure timely settlement of invoices.
• Support the management of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), purchase orders (POs), and billing processes.

Systems & Process Administration

• Administer the School Management System, including invoicing, fee collection records, and reporting functions.
• Ensure financial data maintained within the system is accurate and up to date.

Compliance& Audit

• Ensure compliance with Singapore GST regulations, tax requirements, and statutory obligations.
• Support year-end audit activities and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other professional advisors.
• Prepare schedules and documentation required for audits, tax filings, and regulatory submissions.

BusinessSupport

• Support the Managing Director with financial information, cash flow monitoring, and business performance analysis.
• Assist in grant applications and claims to support business growth initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications& Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Experience in handling full-set accounts and financial reporting will be advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with accounting software, preferably Unit4 or similar ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and Singapore GST requirements.
