Job Summary

Lead strategic business development and operational excellence for restaurant and food manufacturing sectors. Drive revenue growth, secure partnerships, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor teams to deliver impactful business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand restaurant and food manufacturing operations
• Identify and secure new business opportunities, commercial partnerships, and corporate clients to drive growth
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and customer demands
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and profitability
• Oversee restaurant operational performance and implement business improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
• Collaborate with production teams to develop and commercialise new food products that meet market needs
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with Singapore food safety regulations
• Prepare business proposals, tender submissions, budgets, and financial forecasts to support decision-making
• Manage key customer relationships and negotiate commercial agreements to secure favorable terms
• Lead and mentor business development and operations teams to achieve performance targets
• Collaborate with marketing teams to strengthen brand presence and drive customer acquisition
• Monitor business performance and prepare reports for senior management to inform strategic planning
• Analyse financial reports and apply data-driven insights to optimize business decisions
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications proficiently to support business functions

Required competencies and certifications

• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food production processes, and commercial kitchen management
• Practical cooking knowledge including food preparation methods, menu development, and kitchen workflow
• Proven experience in business development, strategic planning, and revenue growth
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
• Good understanding of Singapore food industry regulations and licensing requirements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of managerial experience in Singapore within the restaurant and food manufacturing industries.
