The Logistic Executive will be responsible for strategically managing and optimizing the entire logistics operation to ensure efficient, reliable, and cost-effective delivery of goods while leading teams, and timely movement of goods from origin to destination, and driving continuous improvement, and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This role involves close collaboration with both internal teams and external partners to maintain smooth logistics operations.
Apart from the logistic operations, the Logistic Executive will provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving, and direct core functions of the production planning, and in charge of coconut by product as well. To ensure by product disposes at minimum or meeting zero waste company goals setting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the entire supply chain flow (procurement to warehousing to distribution).
- Continuously monitor the progress of customers’ orders to timely deliveries and address any delays or issues promptly to maintain delivery schedules.
- Monitor KPIs like delivery time, accuracy, and cost per shipment.
- Lead logistics teams, set performance targets and ensure accountability, train staff and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage logistics budgets, negotiate contracts with transporter and carriers, identify cost-saving opportunities without hurting service quality.
- Analyze logistics data and generate reports.
- Continuously improve processes based on insights.
- Report performance to HOD.
- Ensure compliance with regulations (customs, Miti, Jabatan Pertanian, KKM, import/export laws).
- Manage risk like delays, damages or supply disruptions.
- Implement contingency plans.
- Perform duties in complying with Company’s mandated guidelines, Company’s Food Safety System, Company’s Policy and Procedure, and Rule and Regulations governed by the law of Malaysia.
- To perform task and work requirement as and when required and assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years related working experience, preferably in manufacturing industry.
- Strong communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Ability to make quick, informed, and often difficult decisions when any logistics issue occur to minimize costs and downtime.
- Strong in problem-solving, negotiation and critical thinking.
- Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management, and transportation planning
- Good understanding of import/export procedures and customs regulations
- A proactive and customer-oriented approach to ensure high levels of service
- Proficiency in MS Office/data visualization tools, and experience with ERP software.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
