1. Prepare and submit monthly progress claims and payment-related documents.
2. Perform project cost analysis, cost monitoring and budget tracking.

3.    Job Responsibilities

1. Assist with procurement activities, including obtaining quotations and evaluating costs.
2. Carry out quantity take-off and prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ).
3. Review and study drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements.
4. Coordinate and communicate with site project teams, supervisors, clients and contractors on project-related matters.
5. Assist in monitoring project costs and variations throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Maintain proper records of project documentation, measurements and cost-related information.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
2. At least 5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably with building construction contractors.
3. Knowledge of construction cost estimation, quantity take-off and Bills of Quantities (BQ).
4. Familiarity with computerised estimating or quantity surveying software will be an advantage.
5. Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications and contracts.
6. Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work with project teams, clients and contractors.
7. Willingness to attend construction sites approximately once or twice a month as required by project needs.
