Position Overview:
We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and organized individual to join our Student Affairs team and lecturer to deliver high-quality instruction across foundational arts, general education, and essential academic skills modules. The ideal candidate is approachable and service-oriented, with strong attention to detail. This entry-level position supports student admissions and provides administrative assistance throughout the student journey. You are the first point of contact for applicants and students, making them feel welcomed while managing essential documentation and records. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and is starting their career in education administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Process student applications and documentation
- Maintain accurate student records and database entries
- Handle general inquiries via email, and other digital platforms
- Assist with student orientation programs
- Arrange student consultations and support services
- Handle student feedback and complaints
- Support administrative tasks related to student services
Customer Service:
- Provide information about admission procedures
- Assist students and parents with basic inquiries
- Support student documentation requirements
- Coordinate with other departments for student matters
Events & Activities:
- Coordinate orientation programmes
- Organise student events and graduation ceremonies
- Support student clubs and activities
Lecturer:
- Deliver assigned lectures, tutorials and workshops
- Prepare teaching materials and lesson plans
Student Assessment:
- Prepare assessments and marking schemes
- Mark assignments and examinations
- Provide feedback to students
Academic Quality:
- Participate in moderation and programme reviews
- Support accreditation and quality assurance exercises
General Duties:
- Attend meetings and training sessions.
- Perform other duties assigned by the College
Requirements:
Essential:
- Relevant education and experience: The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in related fields
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer service orientation
- Basic database management skills
- Teaching experience: The candidate should have prior experience in teaching in higher education or foundation programs, with a demonstrated ability to engage students and deliver course materials that align with the program's learning objectives.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of another language
- Experience in an educational institution
- Familiarity with student management systems
