JOB PURPOSE
Systematically manage, mitigate and prevent risks to people, property and the environment during the specific lifecycle of a project. This role is vital for several key reasons, encompassing contractual, legal and financial aspects.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist company’s management in developing and implementing Project HSSE Plan
- Ensure project HSSE objectives and KPIs along with appropriate plans for achieving them are defined and agreed
- Participate and facilitate in safety reviews as required. Includes HAZID, Root-Cause Analysis & Risk Assessments
- Prepare, compile and review JHAs for all work scope to be performed under contract
- Co-ordinate and conduct safety inspection / audit of own facilities and activities to ensure safety compliance to local statutory requirement and client’s contract requirements & code of safe practices
- Ensure that a safe system of work is employed for all company’s activities, i.e., Project HSE Manual, etc
- Give safety presentation and enhance the health, safety and environmental awareness of company’s employee and subcontractors
- Ensure all Subcontractors on safety compliance to local statutory requirement, company and client’s contract requirements & code of safe practices, i.e. implement Sub-Contractor HSE Management
- Take part in accident investigation and reporting, monitor their follow up in accordance with client’s guidelines
- Prepare and update of HSE Interface Document (e.g., Project Emergency Response Plan, Project HSE Bridging Document & etc.) for the contract work scope
- Prepare, monitor progress and implementation and update of yearly HSE Plan
- Participates in the implementation of Total Management System
QUALIFICATION
DOSH register Safety and Health Officer, Internal ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Audit, IMS ISO 45001 and ISO14001 Lead Auditor, BOSIET, NEBOSH IGC
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
3- 5 years’ experience in HSE role, preferable in Oil and Gas.
