Responsibilities:

• Manage bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities
• Process and monitor payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, accounting, and filing requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
• Partner closely with finance and operational teams to support business reporting requirements.
• Assist management with financial analysis, reporting, and ad hoc projects.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Experience within the shipping, maritime, dry bulk, commodity trading, logistics, or related sectors.
• Candidates from accounting firms who have worked extensively with shipping or maritime clients are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Strong accounting knowledge with experience managing reporting and compliance activities.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively within a lean team environment.
• Detail-oriented, practical, and able to follow established processes and business requirements.
• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
