Job Description &Requirements

Roles &Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design, development, and commissioning support of Pharmaceuticals DCS / PLC systems on site. Key technology will be Siemens. Any exposure to Rockwell and Emerson DeltaV will be of advantage.

• Will participate in the development and implementation of Automation solutions in line with S88 standards for the plant.

• Thorough understanding of Physical and Procedural Layer design, development, and qualification.

• Work with automation team to design system architecture, Design Specification, Control Strategies, and library development.

• Strong understanding of CSV documentation for Pharma projects

• Supporting manufacturing operations for day today support for DeltaV system.

• Support on NC and CAPA and identification of root causes

• Continuous improvement of the system and support for Operations as required.

• Field commissioning of automation equipment’s.

• System administration and maintenance support.

• Computer system Validation and documentation support for automation systems.

• Interacting with Operations Team, Process Team, Equipment Vendors and Technology providers.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry.

• Experience in the Designing and commissioning of automation projects for GMP manufacturing site.

• Through understanding of Batch S88 standards (CM,EM, Phases, Recipes, Units etc.)

• Understanding of Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical process

• Understanding of automation hardware and networking technologies

• Siemens PCS7 or S7 with Batch exposure is required.

• Emerson DeltaV DCS Batch experience or Rockwell Pharma experience is advantage

• Familiarity with SDLC and quality management processes in the pharma

• Ability to work well in a team environment.

• Able to manage multiple party coordination for automation information.

• Good communication and able to work remotely or onsite as required by client.
