Work Schedule: 5 days/week (may include weekends), 44 hours/week, shift-based (day/night rotation — let us know your preference)

Salary: $3,000 basic + OT pay (no other allowances)

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on FieldOps Technician to join our data center operations team, supporting critical network infrastructure through loopback testing, circuit audits, and on-site troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in network cabling installation, maintenance, or circuit testing — data center environment preferred
• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma / Degree in IT, Networking, or a related field preferred
• Able to lift and carry data center equipment up to 25kg
• Comfortable working shift schedules, including occasional weekends

Key Responsibilities

Loopback Testing & Circuit Audits

Perform loopback testing and circuit audits in line with project requirements.

Loopback Testing

• Identify network circuits requiring loopback testing
• Set up test equipment to simulate traffic on each circuit
• Conduct loopback testing on identified circuits
• Isolate and troubleshoot faults or issues found during testing
• Document all test results, including faults and issues

Circuit Audits

• Conduct physical inspections of network circuits
• Verify network devices are properly configured and connected to correct circuits
• Test signal quality of each circuit
• Document audit findings, including discrepancies or issues
• Remediate issues identified during audits

Safety

• Participate in and help conduct regular safety briefings on hazards and protocols
