Job Summary

Aze Cube seeks a responsible and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Assistant to support daily accounting and finance tasks, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and report preparation, ideal for fresh graduates or junior candidates gaining practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting transactions to ensure up-to-date financial records
• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions to support timely payments and collections
• Prepare payment schedules and maintain detailed payment records for financial tracking
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments to improve cash flow
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify and correct financial discrepancies
• Maintain accounting schedules and organize supporting documents for audit readiness
• Assist with month-end closing activities to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Prepare basic monthly financial and management reports to inform business decisions
• Organize invoices, receipts, payment documents, and accounting records for easy retrieval
• Identify and resolve basic accounting discrepancies to maintain data accuracy
• Support preparation of reports and accounting documentation as required by management
• Assist with administrative and finance-related duties to support team operations
• Perform other accounting duties assigned by management to meet business needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline
• Basic understanding of accounting principles to support accurate financial processing
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills to manage and analyze financial data
• Experience with accounting software to enhance efficiency in accounting tasks
• Good attention to detail and accuracy to ensure reliable financial records
• Responsible, organized, and willing to learn to adapt to evolving job requirements
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
• Willingness to travel to different work locations within Singapore when required
