Job Summary

Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting and manage full set of accounts while collaborating with stakeholders and external parties to maintain compliance and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial reports to Management for informed decision-making
• Monitor and track receivables due from ship owners and actively engage with them to facilitate collections
• Manage full set of accounts including Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL) to maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare audit schedules to support internal and external audit processes
• Organize and maintain accounting records to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
• Prepare annual income tax schedules to meet statutory requirements
• Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timeliness of accounting deliverables
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, and government authorities to fulfill regulatory obligations
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements relevant to accounting and finance
• Participate in company and departmental initiatives to simplify accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and enhance operational efficiency
