Tanggungjawab

The Logistics Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing logistics operations and transportation projects to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and efficient movement of goods. The role oversees project execution, resource allocation, vendor coordination, compliance with regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement of logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and manage logistics projects from initiation through successful completion.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Coordinate transportation activities, fleet operations, warehouse operations, and supply chain processes.
  • Monitor project milestones and ensure delivery within approved timelines and budgets.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Supervise logistics personnel and assign operational responsibilities effectively.
  • Evaluate logistics risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore transport regulations, workplace safety requirements, and company policies.
  • Monitor inventory movement, shipment tracking, and delivery performance.
  • Prepare logistics reports, project progress reports, cost analysis, and performance dashboards for management.
  • Negotiate with logistics service providers and suppliers to achieve cost-effective transportation solutions.
  • Review transportation routes and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate import and export documentation where applicable.
  • Manage procurement and scheduling of vehicles, equipment, and logistics resources.
  • Resolve operational issues, delivery delays, customer complaints, and project-related challenges promptly.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project expenditures and implement cost-control measures.
  • Ensure proper documentation, record keeping, and audit compliance for all logistics activities.
  • Support business development by providing logistics planning and operational expertise for new projects.
  • Perform other logistics and project management duties assigned by management.
