Full Time Quantity Surveyor Jobs, Salary up to SGD 5,000 in M SQUARE DECOR PTE. LTD. North Region (Singapore) - Maukerja

### Responsibilities

*Cost Estimation & Documentation*

• Read and interpret construction/architectural drawings to prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), material take-offs, and cost breakdowns for residential and commercial projects

• Source, compare, and evaluate materials, furniture, fixtures & equipment (FF&E) for cost-effectiveness and quality

• Monitor and track project costs against approved budgets, flagging variances and cost-saving opportunities

*Tendering (Key Focus)*

• Actively search, shortlist, and track relevant tender opportunities on local government and industry platforms — in particular *GeBIZ* and other local e-procurement/tender portals

• Prepare complete and compliant tender submissions within required deadlines, including pricing schedules, technical proposals, and supporting documentation

• Review tender terms and conditions carefully to ensure the company's bids meet all eligibility and compliance requirements

• Track submission outcomes and maintain a record of past tenders for reference and improvement

• *Candidates must have hands-on, prior experience personally tendering for projects using these local platforms — this is essential, not just familiarity with the concept*

*Procurement & Coordination*

• Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and sub-contractors to obtain and negotiate quotations

• Support procurement processes and contract administration for ongoing projects

• Work closely with the design and project team to ensure costing aligns with design intent and client budget

### Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the interior fit-out, renovation, or construction industry

• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings

• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and FF&E costing

• Proficient in rendering software for local project presentations

• *Must have prior hands-on experience personally applying/tendering for projects via local platforms such as GeBIZ* — candidates without direct tendering experience on these platforms will not be considered

• Strong numerical accuracy, budgeting, and cost-control skills

• Proficient in Excel and cost estimation/QS software

• Good negotiation skills with suppliers and sub-contractors

• Meticulous with documentation and able to work within tight tender deadlines

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or related field preferred

• Local Singaporeans preferred
