Position: Project Engineer

a) Schedule & Planning

• Develop and prepare detailed construction work programmes and master schedules.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules for design, procurement, and construction phases.
• Update and revise project timelines based on site progress and project requirements.
• Prepare short-term and long-term planning schedules.
• Monitor project milestones and ensure activities are aligned with the approved schedule.
• Assist in tender planning and baseline programme preparation.

b) Progress Monitoring

• Monitor and track project progress against the approved baseline schedule.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and schedule updates.
• Conduct progress analysis and identify variances between planned and actual work progress.
• Ensure project activities comply with project timelines and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate site progress data collection and reporting.

c) Risk Mitigation

• Identify critical path activities and monitor potential delays.
• Analyze project risks, bottlenecks, and scheduling conflicts.
• Develop mitigation, contingency, and recovery plans to minimize project delays.
• Recommend corrective actions to improve project performance and productivity.
• Assist in delay analysis and extension of time (EOT) evaluations when necessary.

d) Coordination, Communication & Record

• Liaise with project managers, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams regarding project schedules and progress.
• Coordinate and record project activities to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion.
• Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and progress review discussions.
• Ensure effective communication between departments involved in project execution.
• Provide planning and scheduling support to project teams.

e) Resource & Cost Control

• Plan and allocate manpower, machinery, and materials according to project requirements and critical path activities.
• Monitor resource utilization and productivity.
• Assist in cost control and project budgeting through proper planning and scheduling.
• Ensure efficient use of resources to achieve project objectives.
• Support procurement planning and material delivery schedules.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
