Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, cost control and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ) and tender documents.
• Review drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Prepare and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Conduct quantity take-off and site measurements.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and cash flow.
• Prepare and evaluate progress claims and subcontractor claims.
• Handle Variation Orders (VO), remeasurement and cost adjustments.
• Assist in contract administration and preparation of final accounts.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Maintain proper records of contracts, claims, variations and project cost documentation.
• Ensure all QS activities are completed accurately and within project timelines.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• Good knowledge of construction materials, drawings, BQ and costing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of QS/estimation software will be an advantage.
• Good communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
