Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with strong hands-on experience in Selenium, Java/JavaScript and software testing. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation scripts, executing functional and regression testing, and supporting quality assurance activities within an Agile environment.

Must-Have Skills

• 4–8 years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium / Selenium WebDriver
• Strong programming knowledge in Java and/or JavaScript
• Experience in Automation Testing and Manual Testing
• Experience in test case design, execution and maintenance
• Good knowledge of SQL / database validation
• Experience with JIRA and test management tools
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience in web application testing
• Good understanding of defect management and test reporting

Good-to-Have Skills

• QTP / UFT
• Genie Framework
• Cucumber / BDD
• JUnit / TestNG
• API Testing – Postman, REST/SOAP
• Jenkins / CI-CD
• Git
• JMeter / Performance Testing
• Docker / Kubernetes
• Banking / Financial Services experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, regression and user acceptance testing.
• Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios and test documentation.
• Identify suitable manual test scenarios for automation.
• Execute automation scripts and analyse test results.
• Log, track and validate defects using JIRA.
• Perform database validation using SQL.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with developers, business teams and other QA professionals.
• Support API and performance testing activities where required.
• Maintain automation frameworks and continuously improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
• Prepare test reports and provide testing status to project stakeholders.
