About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Intern to join our Merchandising team. This internship provides practical exposure to fashion retail merchandising, including sales analysis, stock monitoring, product planning and coordination with different departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Merchandising team in monitoring product sales and stock performance.
- Prepare and update sales, stock and inventory reports.
- Assist in analysing fast-moving and slow-moving products.
- Support product planning and assortment activities based on sales performance and market demand.
- Assist with stock allocation and replenishment to retail outlets and department store counters.
- Assist in preparing product listings, price lists and merchandising documents.
- Check product information including SKU codes, colours, sizes and pricing.
- Coordinate with Sales, Design, Warehouse and Marketing teams.
- Assist in monitoring product launches, promotions and seasonal collections.
- Conduct basic market and competitor research.
- Assist in preparing presentations and reports for management review.
- Perform other duties and projects assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing Diploma/Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- Interest in fashion retail and merchandising.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, organised and responsible.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
