Job Summary:

• Prepare and cook food according to the menu and hotel standards.
• Ensure all food preparation is done in a clean, safe and hygienic manner.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, taste and presentation.
• Check food items and ingredients to ensure freshness and quality.
• Assist with daily mise en place and kitchen preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the assigned kitchen section.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the Chef of any shortages or issues.
• Work closely with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with training and guiding junior kitchen staff when required.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a hotel.
• Good knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Positive attitude, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
