Job Summary

You will develop and maintain BIM models using Autodesk Plant 3D and Revit, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project protocols for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce the BIM Protocol and BIM Collaboration Procedures according to the BIM Execution Plan to ensure project compliance
• Prepare detailed BIM models using Autodesk Plant 3D and Autodesk Revit by interpreting engineering design requirements from verbal instructions and sketches
• Establish and maintain quality control procedures to verify model accuracy and ensure information meets project requirements
• Identify, document, and resolve clashes using clash detection software to support coordinated project delivery
• Record and monitor shared data and relationships between models, including grids, floor levels, and project coordinates, to maintain model integrity
• Manage BIM workflow proactively by identifying and addressing potential issues to maintain project timelines and quality
• Collaborate effectively within teams and independently to support world-class water and infrastructure projects
• Take initiative to pursue continuous improvement in BIM processes and technologies

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 3 years of production experience in a BIM design environment, drafting, or process engineering with relevant certification or diploma
• Proficient working knowledge of current BIM software such as Autodesk Plant 3D and Autodesk Revit

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge of Bentley OpenPlant and OpenBuildings Designer software
• Ability to manage priorities and additional responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Self-starter mindset with a drive for continuous BIM improvement
• Strong teamwork and independent working skills
• Aspiration to contribute to world-class water and infrastructure projects
