The Data and Systems Administrator plays an important role in this journey by helping to ensure that the College's information is trusted, accessible and effectively managed across our core digital systems.
About the Role:
The Data and Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting the quality, integrity and effective management of information across Brighton College (Singapore). Working collaboratively with academic, pastoral, operational and IT colleagues, the postholder ensures that school data remains accurate, secure, consistent and accessible while supporting the effective administration of the College's core digital systems.
The role will also assist with the administrative support for Exams, as an Exams officer in the first year of appointment.
What you will be doing:
The Data and Systems Administrator supports the day-to-day management of the College's digital information ecosystem. The role works alongside system owners and data owners to ensure information is maintained to a consistently high standard, enabling efficient operations, safeguarding, regulatory compliance and evidence-informed decision-making. The postholder also supports the continual improvement of digital services by assisting with new technologies, reporting, integrations and process improvements.
1. Data Governance and Information Management
Maintain the quality, integrity and consistency of data across the College's core systems.
Coordinate data validation, quality assurance and housekeeping activities.
Work with data owners to improve data quality and consistency.
Support PDPA compliance, data governance and documentation.
Maintain data dictionaries, process maps and reporting schedules.
2. Core Systems Administration
Support administration of iSAMS, Schoolbox, One Cognita, Seesaw, Arc, SchoolsBuddy and future College systems.
Assist with user management, imports, exports, permissions and integrations.
Support testing, upgrades and system documentation.
Liaise with IT, vendors and system owners to improve services.
Administration of the Daily Cover Schedule and handling of cover requests and authorization.
3. Reporting and Data Intelligence
Produce operational reports and dashboards.
Support development of Power BI reporting.
Monitor trends across attendance, behaviour, wellbeing and operations.
Improve reporting through automation and standardisation.
4. Attendance and Operational Support
Monitor daily attendance and follow up missing registers.
Maintain accurate attendance records and reports.
Support attendance communication and escalate safeguarding concerns.
Provide attendance analysis to support pastoral intervention.
Provide administrative support for exams, acting as an exams officer for the first year of appointment.
5. Digital Strategy and Continuous Improvement
Support delivery of Digital Strategy 2026–2029 projects.
Assist with implementation of new systems and integrations.
Identify opportunities to improve workflows and automate manual processes.
Support testing, documentation and change management.
6. Staff Support
Provide high-quality support for staff using College systems.
Produce user guidance and documentation.
Support training and adoption of digital services.
Promote good practice in data management.
