Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development using Microsoft .NET technologies.

• Strong programming skills in C#, ASP.NET Core/.NET , and object-oriented programming (OOP).

• Experience developing enterprise web applications, RESTful APIs, and backend services.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, database design, and SQL query optimisation.

• Familiarity with software design patterns and engineering best practices.

• Experience with Git version control and collaborative software development.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.

• Experience leading the technical delivery of software modules or workstreams, including task planning, technical guidance, code reviews, and delivery coordination.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.

• Lead the technical delivery of assigned software modules and ensure timely completion of development tasks.

• Work closely with the Software Delivery Lead to plan, estimate, and deliver project milestones.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

• Review source code and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and third-party systems.

• Participate in solution design, technical discussions, and architecture reviews.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and the Offshore Development Centre to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment, and post-implementation support.

Preferred Skills

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas will have an advantage:

• Microsoft Azure

• Docker and CI/CD pipelines

• Entity Framework Core

• Frontend development using Vue.js, React, or Angular

• Industrial IoT or enterprise software development

• Microservices architecture and system integration
