Junior Accountant / Accountant

Principle Job Duties & Responsibilities

The incumbent will assist the Finance Manager in supervising the day to day operations of the Finance Department. He or she will assist in the following duties which include:

• Month-end closing of accounts and preparation of management and finance reports.

• Review of payment vouchers, general ledger vouchers.

• Assist in providing guidance to a team of accounts executives / assistants in their work.

• Review of GST and submit GST-filing for the company.

• Preparing daily and monthly cash flow reports.

• Liaising with company secretary for company secretarial matters.

• Liaising with tax agents for tax matters of the company.

• Liaising with auditors for annual audit.

• Preparation of audit schedules and assists in other analysis of the financial results.

• Liaising with operations/line departments for issues concerning financial processes.

• Involve in day to day finance operation issues.

• Assist in other ad-hoc duties when required
  

Qualifications & Experiences

• Degree in Accountancy or other Professional Accountancy qualifications such as ACCA

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

• Competent knowledge in Microsoft Office.

• Meticulous; good with data and possess effective communication skills.
