PASTRY ASSISTANT

Caffe Beviamo is looking for a reliable and passionate Pastry Assistant to join our team.

Main responsibilities:

• Assist with the daily preparation and production of cakes, pastries, desserts and other baked items

• Measure, mix and prepare ingredients according to recipes

• Support the pastry chef throughout the production process

• Bake, decorate, portion and present products according to our standards

• Ensure consistency in taste, quality and presentation

• Assist with stock control, storage and ingredient rotation

• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic pastry kitchen

• Follow all food-safety and hygiene procedures

• Perform other pastry and kitchen duties when required

Requirements:

• Previous pastry, baking or kitchen experience is preferred

• Basic knowledge of baking and pastry preparation

• Good attention to detail and presentation

• Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately

• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn

• Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

• Available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
