Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies to increase revenue and market share.
• Identify and secure new customers for freight transport and logistics services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, transport partners and key stakeholders.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts and manage commercial agreements.
• Conduct market research and analyse industry trends to identify business opportunities.
• Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare business proposals, sales presentations and management reports.
• Develop pricing strategies and monitor competitor activities.
• Participate in client meetings, networking events and industry exhibitions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Singapore regulations.
• Lead and mentor business development staff to achieve sales targets.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Master's Degree or equivalent (preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience in business development, logistics, transportation or freight forwarding.
• Strong negotiation, communication and client management skills.
• Proven ability to secure new business and manage key accounts.
• Good understanding of freight transport, logistics operations and supply chain management.
• Excellent leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
• Able to work independently and travel for business meetings when required.
