Job Summary

Our client, a leading Asia-Pacific logistics company, seeks an Assistant/Manager, Sales with freight forwarding experience to drive revenue growth and expand market presence through strategic sales initiatives and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute sales initiatives in collaboration with the Head of Sales to achieve revenue targets and company goals
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities to increase market share and customer base
• Build and maintain strong client partnerships to enhance customer loyalty and ensure long-term engagement
• Maintain accurate sales records, manage sales pipelines, and update CRM systems regularly to track progress
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify potential growth areas
• Collaborate with operations and service teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction
• Prepare and present detailed sales performance reports, forecasts, and updates to management

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Business, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in logistics or freight forwarding (Assistant Manager candidates with less experience may be considered)
• In-depth knowledge of international shipping processes, customs procedures, and trade documentation
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients
• Self-driven and target-oriented with proactive customer relationship management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Possession of own vehicle for business-related activities
